Meet The Mora's!
Introducing the Mora family, who recently started working with us at Family Friendly Farms and now live here on site at Our Lady’s Ranch. From the first moment we met them, it was clear that Tyler and Natalie carried a deep love for homesteading, simple living, and raising healthy food.
They had been dreaming of a life where their children, Asa (5) and Zoe (2), could grow up close to nature learning responsibility, gratitude, and the value of working with their hands. Their passion for homesteading and regenerative agriculture led them to study pasture-based systems, soil health, and ways to help both animals and land thrive together. They have always believed in feeding their family clean, nutrient-dense food, grown honestly and without shortcuts.
Before moving to the ranch, the Moras visited here several times to pick up their grass-fed meat from our sales team at Family Friendly Farms. Karen and I met them in person later on, during one of our turkey harvest events, and the connection was immediate and genuine. We shared similar Christian values and a mutual appreciation for responsible land stewardship, so we quickly understood that our connection was more than a coincidence, rather a graced friendship.
The Mora's were searching for a place to expand their homestead lifestyle and raise their children in a hands-on, home-centered environment, while we were praying and looking for a family who could join us in caring for the animals and supporting the growing needs of Family Friendly Farms. The timing worked out perfectly, and everything came together naturally.

Since settling here, the Mora's have embraced ranch life with enthusiasm and heart. They bring strong passion, initiative, and leadership to every part of their work. Their homestead mindset resourceful, hardworking, and intentional has already become a tremendous blessing to the ranch. We are confident that their broad talents and positive attitude will continue to uphold the high standards we have established for producing all of our unique healthy meats with an emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.
Today, the Mora's manage all of our livestock production, while continuing their training in each category of the farm work, including growing our own natural-grass feed, pasture management and animal husbandry. They have joined a dedicated team committed to honest food, responsible stewardship, and a lifestyle grounded in the rhythms of the land.
We are grateful to have the Mora's here and look forward to watching their homestead roots grow deeper into the soil of Our Lady’s Ranch. We hope you’ll come visit us soon and meet the Mora's along a hosted farm tour... The Mora the Merrier! And that’s the latest big news here with Family Friendly Farms at Our Lady’s Ranch in Grass Valley, California.
We’ll keep you posted on our continuing progress!
