Pork Dumplings

Pork Dumplings

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb Extra Fine Ground Pork
30-40 Dumpling or Wonton Wrappers (or Homemade dough)
4 Cups Finely Shredded Cabbage
6-8 Stalks Finely Cut Green Onions
2 Tablespoons Ginger
2 Tablespoons Garlic
3 Tablespoons Rice Wine
3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
5 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
2 Teaspoons Salt
2 Teaspoons Pepper

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large bowl, mix your Ground Pork with the rest of your ingredients.
2. Once everything is mixed, begin adding your Ground Pork Mixture to the dumpling wrappers, about a Tablespoon or so per wrapper.
3. After you have assembled your Dumplings, heat up a pan on the stove top with about 2 tablespoons of oil.
4. Once your pan is hot, lay out dumplings flat into the pan about 1/2 inch apart from each other. Let them cook to crisp up the bottom.
5. When the bottoms are browned and crispy, add in about half a cup of water (to steam the tops), and place a lid on top. Leave until the water has evaporated and the tops of the dumplings are firm (and the filling is cooked through).
6. Remove from heat and repeat with the rest of the dumpling, then serve and enjoy!
