Oven Roasted Whole Chicken Wings Recipe

Oven Roasted Whole Chicken Wings Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
12 FFF Chicken Wings (2 Packs)
Salt

Sauce:
Your Favorite Wing Sauce or BBQ Sauce
2 Tablespoons Cold Butter (Cut into small knobs)

Optional Seasonings:
Lemon Pepper
Garlic and Honey
Your Favorite Wing Flavoring Spices

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Defrost the Chicken Wings the night before. Once defrosted, season completely with salt, then leave uncovered in the fridge overnight. (This helps dry out the skin for a crispier finish).
2. About an hour and a half before serving, take the wings out of the fridge and let them sit on the counter for about 10 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Place a wire rack above an oven tray on the bottom rack of the oven (The tray is to catch the drippings).
4. Place the Chicken Wings on the wire rack above the oven tray and cook at 350 Degrees F to render the fat for around 20 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
5. After the first round of cooking, turn up the heat to 400 Degrees F and cook for an additional 10 minutes a side to crisp the skin and finish cooking (Make sure the internal temp reaches 165 Degrees F).
6. While the wings are cooking, make your sauce: In a saucepan on the stove, add about a half cup of your favorite buffalo wing sauce or BBQ sauce. Once it is hot, turn off the heat and drop in the knobs of butter, stirring to incorporate the mixture.
7. Once the wings are done, remove from the wire rack and put in a bowl. Toss with your Sauce, or your favorite spices and wing seasonings.
8. Serve hot and fresh and Enjoy

Note: This recipe works great on a BBQ or smoker as well! Just follow the same steps, and you can even use the same cook times and temperatures.
