Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

INGREDIENTS
1 lb FFF Steak (Our favorite steaks to make with Chimichurri are Skirt, Flank, Bavette or Flat Iron Steaks)
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder

Chimichurri Sauce:
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
3 Tablespoons Red wine vinegar
4 Cloves Crushed Garlic
1/2 Cup Chopped Parsley
1/4 Cup Chopped Cilantro
1 Tablespoon Oregano (Dried or Fresh)
Salt and Pepper to Taste

DIRECTIONS
1. Defrost your Steak and season with the Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder and Garlic powder on all sides.
2. Turn your grill on low, or half of the grill to medium, and place your steaks on the side away from the heat.
3. Let cook for 7-8 minutes per side, (Or until it reaches about 110 Degrees F), then crank up the heat and sear for about 2 minutes per side, (or until it reaches about 130 - 135 Degrees Fahrenheit internal for medium rare). Then remove from the grill and let it rest.
4. While your steak is resting, assemble your Chimichurri sauce. Mix your dry ingredients together first, then slowly add in the wet ingredients, stirring as you add. Let it sit for at least 5 mins to absorb all of the flavors.
5. Slice the steak, top with your Chimichurri sauce, serve and Enjoy!
