BBQ Chicken Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 Pack FFF Chicken Breasts
1 Pack FFF Chicken Legs
Salt
Your Favorite BBQ Seasoning
Your Favorite BBQ Sauce (We like either Sweet Baby Rays or Head Country)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Defrost your Chicken, and place on a tray.
2. Lightly salt all over the chicken, and leave uncovered in the fridge for at least an hour. (This dries out the skin and makes it more crispy when cooking).
3. While the Chicken is in the fridge, preheat your BBQ to about 325 Degrees F.
4. Take the Chicken out of the fridge and season generously with your Seasoning. (While you can add the BBQ sauce at any point in the cooking process, either at this point or while it is cooking/before you sear, we tend to like to keep it as natural as possible while cooking, which also keeps the skin crispy, and use the BBQ sauce to dip the chicken in at the end).
5. Place the chicken on the BBQ, about half an inch apart, on Low/Medium heat for about 10-15 minutes (flipping occasionally).
6. When the chicken hits around 110 degrees F internal, move the chicken off the heat and crank up the heat.
7. Move the chicken back over the fire and sear until done. (The Chicken Legs should be right at about 165 Degrees F, while the Chicken Breasts should be just under that to prevent them from drying out).
8. Once done, remove them from the heat and let rest for about 5 minutes.
9. Prepare your BBQ Sauce to dip and your sides and Enjoy!
